Location:its in inconvenient place for tourists who dont have their own car.The best option to get to the hotel from Tainan station is to take cab.
If you choose to take public bus to the hotel,take city bus No.2 from Tainan station.and Get off bus at bus stop of "台湾銀行　Bank of Taiwan".It costs NT$18.Prepare exact fare in advnce.　The hotel is on 11th floor of a building.
場所：少し不便なところにある。一番いいのはタクシーに乗ること。もしバスで行きたいなら、台南駅や民生緑園からバス２番を乗って、台湾銀行というバス停で下車。運賃は１８台湾ドル。おつりは出ないので事前に小銭を用意するように。ホテルはビルの１１階。

Breakfast:breakfast included.choices are rice ball or sandwitch with milk tea or soya bean juice. Staff ask you what you like to have and what time you want to have breakfast.breakfast is delivered to room in the morning. I ordered both sandwitch and rice ball,but rice ball was not available.(two sandwitches were delivered)
朝食：朝食つき。おにぎりかサンドイッチ、ミルクティーか豆乳ジュースから選べる。たぶんどこかで買ってきたもの。チェックイン時に、何を食べたいかを聞かれる。あと何時に部屋に持ってきて欲しいかを聞かれる。次の日の朝に時間通りに朝食が運ばれてきた。しかし、おにぎりは売り切れでサンドイッチだけが届いた。

Information:I arrived this hotel by taxi from the taichung airport. at the airport taxi driver suggected me a fixed price of NT$500.
but I said "please use the meter",he said "not much difference". as a result, the meter showed NT$435 when i arrived the hotel.NT$435 and NT$500 are not much difference?
今回、ここのホテルには台中空港からタクシーで到着した。空港のタクシー運転手に５００ドルでどうだと言われたが、メーターを使うようにいった。運転手はメーターでも５００ドルとそうかわらないよ、といった。結果、ホテルについたときのメータは４３５ドル。５００ドルと４３５ドル、結構な差がある。空港からはメーターを使うように言いましょう。

Negative Comments: *small room ,especially small bathroom.(nt only this hotel but hotels in hong kong tend to be small.)　　狭い部屋、特にバスルームが狭い。
*When I was waiting for its hotel free shuttle bus(10 minutes before its departure time),I asked staff at reception where I should wait for bus.He told me wait at lobby.
But nothing happened even though we waited till 10 minutes past the departure time.so i asked staff again when the bus will arrive and pick up me.
but they said"bus gone already".I complained that "you said wait here!" then he said "ok wait there",then he called.(at this time ,theres no explanation if bus really come for us ,how long we should wait in the lobby.)
about 15 minutes passed,suddenly a man called us "come here",then we finally got on the bus. The staff at reception NEVER apologized to us that they wasted our precious half an hour in hong kong,and they looked very impatient when i asked about the bus.The driver seemed very annoyed that he had to drive the bus again.
I was NOT comfortable about their attitude on this matter.

ホテルの無料シャトルバスを出発時刻の１０前にはロビーでまってた。フロントのスタッフにどこで待てばいいかきいたらロビーでといわれたのでそうした。出発時刻を過ぎてもバスは来ないし、誰も呼びにこないのでもう一回フロントに言ったら「バスはもういった」といわれた。私が「でもあなたがここでまってていったでしょう？」といったら、どこかに電話し始めた。そしてまた「そこで待ってて」と言われた。この時点で彼がバスを手配したのか、何分待てばいいのかなどの説明はなし。１５分くらい待ってたらドライバーらしき男に呼ばれてバスにのった。フロントのスタッフはこの件に関して謝罪の言葉はないし、むしろいらだってるように見えた。バスの運転手も余分にバスを運転せねばならず、めんどくささを感じているのを察知できた。この件でこのホテルの信用度はマイナスになった。ちなみにこの件以外のスタッフ（男性２人）の対応も悪い。

staff seems she doesnt speak any english.

*In taiwan, it is common to pay for one night.If you want to stay another night, pay in the next monring.
it is also common that hotels dont provide receipt.If you want one, you can require so to avoid misunderstanding of payment.

Negative Comments: *Its basically capsule hotel,so no toilet or shower room inside rooms基本、カプセルホテルなのでシャワーやトイレは部屋にはないです。

*No key or lock for room door!feel unsecured.(there is a place/safe to put valuable things below bed )このホテルの最大の悪い点は部屋に鍵がない。なので入ろうと思えば誰でも入れる。ベッドのしたに貴重品を入れる鍵がかけれる貴重品入れがある。

*sound in hallway easily travel intoe rooms.its noisy when other guests walk past beside rooms. can use free earplug not to be disturbed by those noise,but i had to try my best to reduse noise even when stay in room such as blowing nose,cough,chat with friends not to disturb other guests.so have to care for other ppl all the time.部屋のドアの上部が開いてるので、外からの音、廊下を歩く音、隣の部屋でくしゃみをする音、いびき、などがそのまま自分の部屋に入ってくるのでうるさい。それを気にしない人ならいいが、気になる人にはつらいかもしれない。逆に、ストレスになってしまうのが自分が音を出せないと言うことだと思う。鼻をかみたくても音をだして他人に迷惑をかけてしまいたくないのでかめない、荷物を片付けたいけどあまり音をだしたくない。友達と話せない（会話はラウンジでOK）などがある。

*When I checked in and was going to make payment, I was shown a wrong rate I was supposed to pay.I booked the hotel through Jalan/じゃらん and used Jalan points to get 350 yen discounts..However, staff showed me price before the discount,so I had to inform her that I am supposed to have the point discount. I think its better to check rates and if its wrong ,tell the staff. the best is to print out booking page and show it to hotel reception.チェックインしてお金を払うとき、じゃらんポイントをつかって３５０円の割引を受けるはずだったのだが割引前の料金の支払いを要求された。間違いをしてきしたらきちんと対応してくれました。このような間違いを防ぐために、支払い時ちゃんと料金を確認するか、じゃらんから送られてくるメールをプリントアウトするといいでしょう。

A short trip to Putrajaya

I think many tourists are interested in Putrajaya,but normally, they just pass putrajaya on the way to KL or KLIA.Unfortunately, there is no efficient way to look around the beautiful garden (but empty) city.

I made s short trip to Putrajaya

First I took KTM komuter from KL sentral to Serdang KTM komuter. I saw a wide highway in front of the station.I did not know where I can take rapidKL bus U42 to Putrajaya.

First I waited bus at the bus stop on the same side of the station exit for 15 minutes,but I gave up..some buses(very old fashioned mini buses) came but no rapid KL.

so I crossed the highway by overpass and waited for U42. Obviously many passengers were waiting for buses.NO proper informatoin or bus stop signage..

While i was waiting, I witnessed an accident. Metro bus crashed a motorbike rider! the rider seemed he got injured with his right arms scratched by the crash and bleeding . Ticket seller from metro bus came down ,and the bus just gone.. If that was in japan, it'd be a big news the next day,but I am very not sure about the case in malaysia.

As I was curiously looking at the poor motorbike rider, I sensed another bus came ,and looked at it.Its U42!

As typical in malaysia, many passengers rushed into the bus. Well, I had to squeeze myself into the crowd too.

It took me about half an hour standing on the packed bus to get to the independence square where I got off the bus. I was the only passenger who got off there.

Very spacious square and many gigantic architectures surrounded. so much greenary ,but good or bad,it feels so EMPTY! Its good if I compare it with busy KL,but its so sad to see such nice city are little used by the citizen.

its so large city, and bus system is not the best. I walked..(it was the biggest mistake )

I walked down the main bulvard and walked toward a bridge .Later i found the bridge connecting to highway..(pLease do not build walkway leading to highway.. )

台湾で運転

９月１日から２週間くらいかけて台湾を一周しようと思ってます。

しかし、台北や高雄は交通機関が発達してるからともかく、田舎の方は車がないと楽しめないかと思いレンタカーをかりれるかしらべたところ、日本は台湾を国家として認めてないので国際免許証は有効ではないらしい。

しかし、うれしいことに、日本の免許証をJAFにもってけば手数料３３００円で中国語に翻訳してくれ、さらにそれが台湾で通用するということらしい。

これならレンタカー借りてみようかなと思ったけど、しらべてみると台湾の運転マナーはひどく危険というではないか。

一応、私はマレーシアのクアラルンプールの交通事情をしっているのであんなもんかなあと勝手に思うのだが（市内では運転したくないですね。。）、台湾の「田舎」はどうなんだろう。海外ではマレーシアのラブアン島（田舎、渋滞皆無）とコタキナバルでは運転したことがあります。

マレーシアは日本と同じ左側通行だったけど、台湾は逆の右側通行。反対車線に入り込まないように気をつけないとね。

I have thought metered taxi fare in malaysia was very cheap,well, too cheap for drivers to feed him and feed their family I think. BUT It canNOT be a reason to cheat passengers and travellers!

Now the government raised taxi fare,but what is moer important thing is to force cab drivers to use metre! My worst cab experience was one i took from batu cave to the city center in KL. costed more than RM50!!!! I went to batu cave from KL at RM13,but why the hell the other way around cost more than RM50? I doubt that shitty indian driver did something on his metre so it ticks much quicker.Be careful of cabs in batu cave. pls Take rapid kl bus..

前々からマレーシアの経済状態からは初乗り運賃がRM2とは安すぎると思っておりました。特にクアラルンプールとその周辺の物価は高いから、その辺での適正な初乗り運賃はRM４くらいでしょうか。まあ、私の意見としては、どんなけ運賃が高くなろうと、「メーターを倒して走」ってくれさえすれば気分よく、かつ安心して使えます。めんどくさくてむかつく運賃交渉がなければ多少高くなってもみんな（本当にタクシーが必要な人たち）のるでしょう。今までの初乗り運賃RM２ってrapidklの運賃と一緒ですよ。バスとタクシーが同じ値段だなんて普通に考えておかしいでしょ。

今まで乗ったなかで最悪のタクシーはbatu caveから王宮前に行ったときです。batu caveにきたときはちゃんとメーター使ってくれてrm13だったのに帰りは「メーター」使ってｒｍ５０以上！改造メーターに違いない。

初乗り運賃RM2→RM3/RM3→RM4(in Penang)

10 sen=150m→10 sen→115m

とにかく、いいたいことは、多少運賃が上がってもいいけど、「メーターで走る」ということ。これが最重要。

Well, first of all, today's topic is NOT a hotel or proper accomodation to stay,but it might be itneresting to know this kind of place.

Japan is well-known for one of the most erotic country in the world. Some report that the more society develop financially, the more it gets erotic.WEll, who knows.

Japan got a lot of strange business regarding sex industry.

One of them is "Love hotel"-Hotels specially designed for couples to mate. It is said that its becuz houses in japan is too small to have night activities . Normally, Love hotels do NOT provide any prostitution. When I told this to my foregin friend,he was very confused then what love hotels are for,and badly disapointed.

By the way,Today's topic is not love hotels,but its "Video Viewing Rooms(Video Box,個室ビデオ、ビデオ試写". I wonder how many websites introduce this in English,lol.

well,in video box, you ll find a lot of small rooms,as small as toilet box.In there, there is basically chair,TV,computer with earphone(important). Its pretty much like Internet Cafe in Japan.

But the big different is,,surprisingly,,, the facility is specially for "providing a space for men to masterbate"! In the ground floor, there are lots of lots of AVs to choose from. After you check in at counter, you go to a room ,like video rental shops, then u choose some and take them to your small box room. You play the DVD with your computer with earphone(some box room dont require earphope　thanks to soundproofing ) ,and lastly, ENJOY YOURSELF! I took my oversea fren there .He was terribly surprised and commented "I have never imagined that masterbation can create such business like this."

This can be a good place to sleep.

It provides shower, and even flat chair you can lie down, and it costs about 3000yen for 12 hours stay including one usage of shower and towel .So it is quite quite reasonable for hotel standard in Tokyo.

When I stayed at one of them, I found a piece of paper stating "We compete with hotles".

Its very clean,but I felt it was too cold with aircon at night. No branket.

the biggest problem is NO key! You can lock the door from inside,but you can NOT lock the door from outside(no key).. so when you want to go to toilet,when you go to shower room,when you change DVDs,anytime you are away from your box, there is potentially danger of theft. Ur bags or wallet in ur bags might be stolen. I think it is the biggest problem for travellers who normally bring big luggage.

Another problem is ,nt only in video viewing rooms but all over in japan, language problem. Staff probbly explain system of facilities ,but i think he can not speak any english..

Well, I do NOT recommend Video Viewing Rooms for tourists,but maybe it is itneresting to know japan got such crazy but uique place to relax,enjoy and sleep. well,Of course it provides hourly rates, so if u are intrerested in such place, maybe its good to try for 1 or 2 hours.

This is a brand I stayed once before.

It's "Taiwan,Taipei Homestay".

The owner is a female Singaporean studying in Taipei.According to the website, she offers HER room for tourists . What it means is that you need to share the(her) room with her.Ya its really "homestay".

It is interesting to know a student is offering her room and share it with tourists.

Is it common for taiwanese or students in taiwan to offer such deals?Its so curious.

９月から台湾に行くので、そのためにどこのホテルが安くて良いかネットで探していたらちょっと変わった場所を発見した。

面白いことに、経営（？）している人が台湾で勉強中のシンガポール人学生で、さらに面白いことに、その人の部屋に泊めさせてもらう、その人の部屋をその人とシェアする、ということらしい。本当に友達の家にちょっと泊めさせてもらう感覚だろうか。

webpageを見ると確かに清潔な部屋そうだし、友達の部屋に居候みたいな感じで面白そうだけど、値段は破格の値段というわけではなさそうだ。

平日祝日でちがうけど一人一泊NT$400~

二人だとNT$600～

単純な比較をするのは良くないがTaipei HostelのシングルがNT$500（トイレ、シャワー共同）ダブルがNT$６００（トイレシャワー共同）、ダブル（トイレシャワーつき）NT$７５０のことを考えれば、部屋をシェアするHomestayとトイレ・シャワーは共同だけど一室使えるTaipei Hostelのシングルとの差額NT$100、をどう見るかは微妙なところで意見が分かれるだろう。俺なら一室使えるシングルでNT$５００にいってしまいそうだが・・。

しかし、なかなか面白い形態の宿泊施設っていうのは事実。この学生さんは女性らしく、女性バックパッカーや旅行者を希望しているみたいです。

彼女のwebsiteに細かな料金設定、部屋の写真、地図などこのhomestayに関するいろんな情報があるので興味のある人はみてみたらどうでしょうか？

ちなみに、彼女の友人がやっている？というTaipei,Shilin Homestayというところがあり（たぶん同じアパートの違う部屋）そこは一室まるまる貸し出してくれるらしい。availabilityのカレンダーをみると結構埋まってるのでこちらのほうが人気があるようだ。

Will AirAsia fly to Japan soon?

My friend(Japanese) told me a couple of days ago that one of her friend(Japanese) passed a test to be a flight attendant of AirAsia, and if she really decided to work for AirAsia, she would have to stay in Malaysia for at least 2 years.

It was the first time for me to know AirAsia is hiring Japanese as flight attendants.

Is it a sign of "Flying to Japan soon"?

Anyway, I really hope so..

AirAsiaが日本人を雇っている？初耳です。

これはAirAsiaが本当に日本に飛んでくる準備の一環なのでしょうか？

When I travel, one of my interests and activities I see there would be watching and experiencing train rides.

Trains in Japan is very efficient and useful,furthermore, there are shops inside statoins and normally, there are many shops in front of statoins.

When I visited Tokyo first time,I thought train is going through cuz the trains entered station so speedy.But it was actually stopping at the station,I just misunderstood it cuz one train set is about 10 cars..

One more thing i was surprised was some train cars got 5 doors ..

My favourite train,Singapore MRT opened a new line,circle line a few months ago.

I really want to try it.

its desgin,cleanliness,clear announcement,spacious station,safety platform screen door,easylink card are perfect.

Hong Kong also have very similar train,MTR. not MRT but MTR,so confusing thou..

Ah very nice!Whats great about Hong Kong MTR is the line opened 30 years ago,but it still look new and clean,shiny.

I was amazed at the floor of train,it was carpetted!

Train announcement was not in Australian accent,but normal accent..

Bangkok metro is also nicee.

Its super clean and looking good UNLIKE ground level which is mostly chaos!
Its totally different world between road on the ground and Metro in the underground.

I really hope Nagoya subway also will renovate itself like one of trains above i introduced..

look so old.toilet stinks,no contactless tickets,no platform screen doors,messy advertisement.

Huh..well,its still efficient and useful,but maybe they can do something about problems i said .
But I dont know if citizens will agree with spending much tax on improvinh the facilities into shiny spacious metro system like ones in singapore or in hong kong..

This is Maya Brasserie where you have breakfast in Hotel Maya.
When I nearly finished my breakfast,I noticed a menu at my table.
It says please order from here.
I DID NOT know we can have menu meals!I just thought it was only buffet style restaurant.
So i ordered..I squeezed the meals into my already-full stomach,not to waste precious meal in the hotel.
as we entered the restaurant, we were assigned to a seat(2 seat only for one small table) which was really small,and even worse, our table is kind of connected to next table..no separation or anything..So we were so close to another couple sitting down next to us. I think its so bad we can clearly listen to what they are talking and vice versa, they can clearly hear what we were talking.
By the way,a couple sitting next to us was one British male,one Asian girl..I wondered if the woman was a prostitute or just an ordinary girlfriend of his...He was talking to her in slow and very clear English to her,but she seemed she didn't understand it.

For a lunch meal today, I drove a car to Macdonald near my house with a discount coupon available on their official website in my hand.

This coupon is available only starting with 14 oclock or later than that.

I used drive-thru lane and bought meals.

One Cheese burger,1 cup of coke S size, and Shaka Shaka(Shaking) chicken cost only 250yen.

Teriyaki burger at 100yen.

Total:350yen

Here in Japan where normal lunch meal cost at least 500yen. Its a good deal.

I wonder if Teriyaki burger is available only in Japan or not.

Its chicken with lettace and mayonaise.taste so nice.

This is Shaka Shaka chicken.

A piece of chicken comes with a package of powder cheese.

I opened the package and put the cheese into the paper bag above.

Then I shaka-shaka it!! up and down right and left~

After a while, I zipped off the paper bag along the dot line in the middle of the paper.

Then the chicken is nicely sticked with the cheese powder.

It also tastes awesome!

時間は約１時間かかるんで時間に余裕のある人だけ。
KLSentralのモノレール方面の出口をでてエスカレーターを降りる。そこがバス停の通り。
市バス乗り場はエスカレーターとは反対側。
最近はバスに並んで待つようになった。

Now there are plenty of maid cafes.Well,maybe its already too old fashion or too normal .

One of my friend told me there is a unique shop in Akihabara,the mecca of animation and Otaku culture.

The shop name is "Akiba Girl's Hostel(Dormitory?)"

This is where you can experience sweet and sour memory as if you secretly visit No-Man-Allowed girls hostel!

You go there and you will find pretty girls in pajama ,who look just after wake up,who will welcome you.
You feel you are not supposed to be there,but you are there.
One of the pajama girls will direct you to her room decorated with cute pink items .
You can take out snacks and drinks you bought from outside,and share those with your girl.
The room is with TV and games,like Wii...Playing the games with her in where you are not supposed to be makes you feel "sweet and sour " feeling...........

たまには、日本語でブログを書いてみようと思う。

下の写真に示したレストランはStation Kopitiamというマレーシアのコーヒーショップをモチーフにしたレストランだ。比較的、値段は安く、気軽に入って食べれるのではないだろうか。

この日はMaytower serviced apartment and hotelのリトルインディアにあったStation Kopitiamにいった。席はすべて野外で、雨よけの屋根だけあった。室内ではないのでエアコンはもちろんなし。セットの料理を頼んだ。メイン、ジュース、スイカがついてきた。値段はわすれました。

結構おいしかった。SerembanのTerminal 1 shopping centreでも見たことがあるのでチェーン店だろう。

Jiaozi and Takoyaki party

Last night from 6pm,at my university, I joined Jiaozi(chinese dumpling) and Taoyaki party.

There are chinese,taiwanese,japanese and one french in the party.

Japanese cooked takoyaki,chinese students made jiaozi

what amazed me with the jiaozi is they really start cooking with flour!
I thought they would start with packaged dumpling wrappers they can buy at supermarkets.The jiaozi tastes fantastic! They ve got a soy sause,chinese vinegar they brought from china. so those Jiaozi tasted really "Chinese"!

On the other hand,Japanese Takoyaki team also did quite a good job,I think.
For special flavour,We made Nattou Takoyaki!!
It tastes really Natto!

By the way, so much Natto was left unused for takoyaki...so at the end,we put natto in dumpling as ingredient.that also tasted natto.i think natto got a powerful flavour..

after all, we had a really good time.

It is used for trains,buses,highway tolls.its very convenient.
IN malaysia, sadly,ticket vending machines are often Rosak,broken at train statoins,or those machines dont accept notes...or no changes..

There are some places where passengers can add value into the card,but its limited.
and unlike singapore MRT system that passengers can add value in every station..
I found value adding machine at monorail hang tuah station ,pic above.

I gave it a try.
It worked!
note was inserted smoothly and the value was added! its surprising cuz usually those machines wouldnt work in malaysia! Lol

Well, when i found that, it still looked new.maybe its broken already~.pls keep it up for maintainance.

First Cabin in Osaka

Last night I found one hotel called "First Cabin".The hotel is in Osaka,Japan and its a capsule hotel.

Normally,capsule hotels look like..

this.

This is already "cool" to foreginers ,I thnk.

What you can get in the hotel is just one of tiny sleeping boxes which are piled up in one big room.This is nearly dormitory hostel,but you can get private space in the box. In the box, you have a comfy bed,radio,and usually TV that also offers sex video. For public space, you ll have public spa(bath) sauna,and locker,toilet.

The first cabin is one of such capsule hotel but something is different.

It provides box room but its bigger and more stylish.

The rooms were modelled after first class cabins of airplane.
Thou you must share toilets,bathroom,shower room,you can have ur more comfortable stylish room for yourself.

The price is also affordable for that quality of the hotel.

Nex time I have to stay overnight in Osaka,I will definately try the fancy hotel!

I was just surfing the itnernet and found out that a packaged tour to Korea is unbelievably cheap!

Return tickets between Nagoya and Seould,2 night hotel stays,and return airport transfer.
its just 3 days,but people like me who just like to enjoy delicious korean food and taking photos,3 days are all enouugh.
Though those cheap tour take all of the travellers to duty free shops ,which waste precious time in the city,but its a good deal(thats one of the package tours are so cheap!)

basic price of the package tour is 8800yen~9980yen depending on dates.

last week i ringed the agent and made sure some dates are still available.

with the basic price, though it needs to be added airport tax both in nagoya 2500yen and incheon(about 2000yen),but its still so cheap!

Imagine just going to tokyo from nagoya and come back costs over 20000yen by shinkansen.if u stay at hotel in tokyo,it costs much more!

Nowadays travelling to oversea is often cheaper than travelling domestic.

I just didnt have friends who can take the tour with me cuz all my friends are so busy!

But why not YOU try it?its a damn good deal!

I booked an air ticket to Tapei!
Im going to bank to pay later today.
Ill fly with Northwest airline.first i fly from nagoya to tokyo then take another flight in Narita airport and head to Taipei.
The ticket costs 36700yen including everything.Its cheap for tickets that allows me to stay over 2 weeks.If I just stay in taiwan for 10 days,then ticket would be much cheaper than that ,probably about 20000yen.Think that return tickets between Nagoya and tokyo costs about 21000yen. Travelling to taiwan is definately on sale! and Costs in taiwan is slightly cheaper than Japan.so I thnk its good place to travel.
However, even though costs in taiwan is cheaper than that in japan,its still much more expensive than Malaysia..How much budget should i prepare?

I really have been wanting to visit taiwan for long time.im very excited to go there.

Probably, most of international travellers arrive Malaysia from Kuala Lumpur International Airport(KLIA). Have you studied how to get to the city centre yet?

KLIA express/ERL is the fastest way which costs RM35 per person per way.
The train takes half an hour to get to KL Sentral.

But if you are travelling with more than 2, Maybe taking taxi directly to your hotel in KL is cost effective and easier.

Here,today I would like to introduce bus stops at LCCT,KLIA.

Though LCCT shares the same runway with KLIA, its very far from the main terminal.it is no rail transportatoin out of LCCT and only public transportation is bus.

At past, there were no proper bus stops,but last time I visited LCCT, bus stops were better organised than the past.

When you arrive domestic arrival LCCT,turn left after getting out of the terminal.
If you arrive International arrival LCCT,go straight for the way to the domestic arrival hall.
Then you will see a way leading to bus stops like this below.

Accessibility:The official website of Tune hotel says 7 mins walk to the hotel from the airport,but I am sure the walk is not very comfortable.There's NO proper walkway or pavement for pedestrians. Im sure 7 mins are NOT enough to finish the walking journey to the hotel.I guess it would take about 15 mins at least.My recommendation is "Do not walk".Malaysia is a hot country with killing sunshine.
So,how?
There is a shuttle van between the airport (LCCT)and the Tune Hotel.
Van fare is RM1.It takes about 2 mins only to get to the hotel.
The problem,well,typical problem in Malaysia,is at LCCT or atleast at arrival hall NO informatoin provided where people can board the van to the hotel!!
Van stops and lets passengers from the hotel alight right in front of the domestic departure hall like this.

If you see it,you are lucky,Go to the van and get on!
If you cant find it,you have 2 choices.1.wait there 2 go to bus stop in front of the food court walking past some bus stops of skybus,aerobus,bus to main termina,and star bus...probably many staff will shout at you "Sentral?" which is super annoying..In fact,proper bus stop of the van is in front of food court! without asking people,how can I know where to board the van??I have asked 4 people to just to find the bus stop.But be careful ,people who chose choice 2, even though its the proper bus stop,the van can only accomodate up to 9 people maximum. What if the van is full because people get on the van at departure hall(choice1)? Hmm, you might have to wait another half an hour..
But the last day ,I saw the van is waiting at spot between skybus stop and LCCT terminal...
Pls look carefully and find the van.
Frequency of the van is half an hour.

00mins and 30 mins in every hour from the tune hotel

The Sky lounge is on 13th floor(I think..my memory is ..)
From the lounge, I enjoyed the nice view of petronus twin towers and KLCC.At night from 9pm to 11pm, there is complimentary coffee/tea and light snacks.just say coffee or tea to staff who approach u.The door that you can enter from the terrace to lounge is the central door. I saw many people are confused how and where they can go in.

The lounge is only available for hotel guests

Toilet at the lounge level is washlet.

The hotel is separated into two parts appearently.

From my room, I had to go down stairs first which has a link to the pool,and head to the door..

The door said "press the buttom to access the Anggun Spa",so I thought it was not the right place to get to the pool.but soon later, I noticed theres no other way to go in the pool..So I pressed the buton,what a strict security,one more door appeared in front of me..anyway after going through the 2nd door, a lady staff welcomed me talking about Spa thing.She took us to the spa room and showed me the luxurious spa room which I student can not afford trying.She also showed me Finess centre.

There is a changing room(comes with toilet ,shower and sauna) .

What is very good about the pool is its warm water! So,I felt very comfortable being in the water and enjoyed some water pressure juzzzy.

There are chairs in the pool site ,and you can use towels ready there.

*a Staff belled my room 1pm at the first day asking"Did you consume anything in the fridge?".I wonder why He asked at that time.I might consume something later at night or next morning..

RapidPenang 401A

Penang is a famous and popular holiday destination(and also business and industrial island),but surprisingly until just a few years ago,there hadnt been any public transportation directly linking from the airport to the city centre.
at the past,only taxi was the only optin.(Purchase coupon costing about RM40)

The malaysian government set up bus company called "RapidPenang" to improve the public transportation in the state. It is very similar to RapidKL.

Well, RapidPenang is NOT the best yet,but it does improve the situation of public transportatoin in Penang.

One of such improvements is that they started providing bus service from the airport to the city centre.

I gave it a try.

First, unless you know the informatin that rapidpenang has a bus service from the airport, you will not notice they actually have a bus route from the airport to the city centre,and you will find it difficult to know where you can board its bus .No information provided at the Arrival level(at least I didnt notice anyting about bus there)

What you should do when you arrive Penag International Airport is...

1.Take a lift up to Departure level

2.Go outside,and turn LEFT !

3. If you look left ,you will probably see one or two rapidpenang bus(es) of "401A"there like these photos

Bus fare is just RM2. If you are a budget traveller or got much time to spare in the island, its definately better to take the bus instead of expensive cab ride.
By the way,no change will be provided,so prepare exact amout of RM2 before boarding.

inside bus is fairly clean,but maybe I was unlucky!? Aircon was working not enough~!

Even worse, there was no curtain or something to shut the strong sunlight.

I do not know its frequency.
its ordinary bus service that stops every bus stop where customers hail,unlike skybus or aerobus that run between KL Sentral and LCCT only. So, the bus 401A takes about one hour to get to Weld Quay via Komtar depanding on traffic condition.
Bus fleet they are using is just like normal city bus type,so no space for luggage storage.
The last stop is Weld Quay via Komtar. from there,you can transfer to another bus route or take a cab,or try CAT free shuttle bus service offered by the local government.

In 401A , free wifi is available.but I wonder how many passengers are enjoying the service?Hmm..

plusliner bus in butterworth bus terminal.it came to bus terminal 15 mins before the departure time and it departed exactly on time.

ticket booths at KL Sentral,my recommendation,same row as check-in counters,back of KLIA express fare gates.

My favourite bus operator in Malaysia is Plusliner.
The main hub is Puduraya bus terminal which is totally "chaos".I really do not want to be at such chaotic bus terminal.So,I want to book tickets somewhere else but at the puduraya bus terminal. Maybe many malaysians and travellers already know?

They have a small ticket counter at KL Sentral.It is located at the City Air terminal in KL Sentral which look very secured (puduraya makes me feel so dangerous) ,of course airconed,no chaos ,unlike puduraya.
Only 2 booths and one man are for Nice bus ,Plusliner,transnasional. He is sometimes away from the counter for dealing with "boarding bus",so do not give up easily even if u find no one there.

What is important to tell at the counter when booking tickets is to tell the staff what bus brand you would like to take cuz they sell Nice bus,Plusliner,and Transnasional.and Fare depands on brands. Otherwise, you might have to purchase tickets of Nice bus which is very laxurious but expensive.

By the way,I purchased at the counter tickets from Butterworth to KL at RM31.2. Bus I took departed butterworth busterminal at exactly 10am just on time and arrived Puduraya bus terminal,KL around 14;35.
purchasing tickets there was so smooth and no customers are making queue there.I strongly recommend the ticket counter at KL sentral.

Reasons why I like Plusliner
*Affordable-tickets are not so expensive
*Reliable-1 Driving attitude is ok,not reckless.
2. They use "rest area" within expressway unlike some other buses using rest area like food court which are mostly dirty and outside expressway.
3.Buses go straight to destination. they do not stop many places or pick up passengers and drop passengers on the way to its destination .
*Punctuality-It comes to bus terminal on time most of the time
*Comfortability-1.their fleets are ok.some are new( ya,some look a bit aging,but its still managable).
2. some newer buses ,its seat alignment is 2-2 at front and 1-1-1 for back seats,so even if you r travelling alone,especially if you re female traveller travelling alone,you can require single seat at the same rate.
*Convenience-you can book tickets from one place to another(means like i did,i purchased tickets from butterworth to Kl in KL)

Internet:Wifi in room seems not available.I didnt check lan cabled internet.but there is a conection of the internet in the table.

Around th hotel:CapSquare(small shopping mall,but new) on the other side of the road. little india.

Good Comments:*it is located relatively near many stations(dang wangi,masjid jamek,bandaraya,bank negara(a bit further than the above 3 stations))
*Capsquare is just on the other side of the road.You can shop,dine,watch movie there.
*Swimming pool is excellent with nicely decorated pillars.
*nice view of KL tower.
*polite and smiley staff at check-inn
*when entering breakfast buffet and showing my breakfast voucher, I was greeted nicely in Japanese.
*breakfast menues are a little bit different every day.prawm mee is very nice.

Negative Comments: It takes at least 10 mins to any stations,its a bit difficult to go to bukit bintang cuz monorail station is a bit far.
*standard room is really small.seems only twin room is available.
*standard room got a connecting door to the next room.Noise travels to next room easily and you ll probably hear noise of the next room loudly .
*breakfast menu is not wide,and it was difficult to find seats in peak hours.
*though check-inn was smooth ,staff were polite and smiely,but check-out was terrible. It seemed that 2 staff,when checkout, were too busy handling customers that they forget to be polite ,smile,or friendly to their customers.they were very"doing their jobs".I waited 20 mins just to check out.by the way staff of check in and check out were different ones.
*the fridge was NOT working when i checked in,so i called the reception and staff came and fixed it.

Today, morning, I used sakura lounge at centrair. I thought northwest airline prepare other lounge,but actually i was given a voucher to go to Sakura Lounge when checked in.

There are basic things;Beer dispensers,Onigiri,some snacks,sandwitches,wine.

anywya,right now im in Skyclub lounge at Narita airport,tokyo.

Im very satisfied with the food,facilities,and environment.

im very tipsy right now with vocka, wine,sake,beer.....so many alcohol i had..whats a little bit sad is i am drinking alone.haha

im gonna catch flight.

There isnt a big population in the island.Driving in the island

was very relaxing.

This is one of a small island in Langkawi I visited as "Island Hopping"

It costed only RM25. I thnk the tour is worth RM25 very much.

The beach of the island was very white,and water was so clear.

Location:Very close to Aljunied MRT station.Turn left at the entrance of the station,and walk ahead to shophouses ,the corner of the shophouse is this hostel.Its a bit difficult to find it. Sign is too small to find.I asked staff at restaurant just 20~25 metres away from the hostel entrance where the hostel is,but they said"I dont know"...Later, I find it just so close..

Cleanliness:Really very clean for inside the hostel,but the building (outside look)looks very aging.But once I stepped in the hostel, everything was shining clean.

Shower:3?or 4 shower booths,some of which got toilet with.Shower pressure is no problem,but I couldnt lock key of one of them,so someone tried to come in when Im doing my business!

Internet:Wifi seems available cuz I saw some people were using it ,but I didnt use it myself..

Good Comments:*Very clean and affordable
*Very close to Aljunied MRT station,1~2 mins on foot.
*Easy to go to and from the airport by MRT.
*Easy to take taxi even middle of the night(I had a taxi frm there to the airport at 3am)

Negative Comments:*Reception is not open for 24 hours actually.(or at least at the time I stayed).I wanted to check out the room middle of the night around 3am to catch an early morning flight,but a staff said its not possible.But she suggested me I check out the room 10 pm before the day(return the room key and get back my deposit),then I just stayed at the room over the night until 3am next morning when I left the hostel. Actually I wanted to come back to the hostel late at night(midnight),but she said 1opm is time to go bed for her..So I asked if 10pm can be changed to 11pm.She said its ok.(If you are not checking out in such early morning,you can come back to your room anytime 24 hours,No curfew)
*The hostel is located in 1st and 2nd floor without lift.
*Noise was very easy to travel over walls,so I had to be very quiet at night.
*Too close to MRT station to hear station announcement such as "To all passengers~""Train is arriving" and train running sound..I think its disturbing in the morning for sensitive people.

Overall:Its a very nice hostel with great accessibility, reasonable rate and clean rooms. Strongly recommended.

An Unreasonable Rule

A week ago,I told my antie who is in charge of my workplace that I would travel malaysia.Today,she told me there might be a "rule"..So she asked if there is any rule concerning the Swine flue to the manager who said "we have".

The rule says "Working is not permitted for one week after flying back to Japan. It applys for all the people who travel to oversea and people with any family members or roommates who travel to oversea regardless what foreign country they go."

How unreasonable the rule is! Japan got more than 300 swine flu patients but the rule sound like foregin countries are much more dangerous!! How many swine flu patients are there in Malaysia so far?2? and no local transmission?At least, I'm very sure Japan is more dangerous than Malaysia.Why people who visit Osaka and Kobe,where most of 300 patients are, are permitted to work,but travellers to oversea are not allowed to work for 7 days?

Very unreasonable..

Access:I took a taxi from Josselton ferry terminal to the hotel at Rm20,but maybe you can bargain more?Alternatively,there are free shuttle buses provided by 1Borneo shopping mall from Wawasan Square.Get (free)bus tickets at the booth. The buses are running on schedule.You can walk from bus stop inside 1Borneo down to the hotel entrance.

Room type:single,double

Price:*As you know,Tune Hotel offer different rates depending on when u book rooms.
*I stayed at double room at RM295 including 2 packages of 12 hours aircon for 7 nights.(23 dec~30dec)

Room Facilities:Aircon,Flat TV,in-room wifi,towels(cost),hungers,Table,shower booth,toilet with hose(free)

Hotel facilities:7-Eleven ,Gloria Jeans Coffee ,Nelson's Cafe(actually u can step in 1Borneo anytime),Travel agent desk

Cleanliness:VERY CLEAN! No complaining about cleanliness

Shower:Very good water pressure and nice hot shower

Around the hotel:*1Borneo!*Across the busy road in front of !Borneo,there are new shophouses.There are some restaurants and a dobi(loundry store,) and some others.
*There is a travel informatoin near the hotel,inside 1Borneo,where you can ask for renting a car.I rented Myvi..

Good Comments:*Very convenient to access 1Borneo.If you just tired of shopping, you can simply go back to your room and rest and go back to shopping.
*Free shuttle buses from 1Borneo to city centre are provided,which can save taxi fare.
*Some rooms(I think rooms located at the edge of the building) are larger than the other rooms.I stayed at one of those rooms.
*Once again,very clean!
*Aircon in my room seems not counting how long I used it...I paid for 24 hours only,,but I used aircon at least more than that..
*staff at reception are very nice and polite.

Bad Comments:*Location of 1Borneo where Tune Hotel is just with is far from the city centre and the airport.
*No coin loundry at the time I stayed,so I had to go across the busy road with my dirty clothes to a dobi ,one of shophouses..
*a staff at the travel agent desk seemed to me that they are not so interested in catching potential customers..
*I think car parks tend to be very packed on weekends..and traffic jam leading to 1Borneo.

Foo~~~,finally presentation was done just now.
Today,many of my classmates didnt attend the class cuz they are out for teaching practice.
so, It was lucky for me to do my presentation with fewer classmates.

My topic of presentation was about "Selkies".its imaginary creatures found in mythology of celtic countries. they are usually seals living in the ocean,but sometimes they come up on the land,and shed their skin to tranform themselves into human form.Interestingly, Female selkies in human form are very pretty and male selkies in human form are also very handsome.then male selkies seduce human women ,especially women who are dissatisfied with their romantice life. as for female woman,if human men find their skin and hide it,the female selkies that are very pretty are in his hand.they are forced to marry the men who hide the skin.

Today is rainy.It feels my skin is sticky cuz of its humid weather.It feels hot if I put on jacket,but It feels cold with a shirt only..difficult to asjust to the weather.

Today .there are another 2 classes to attend.
One is Chinese starting from 3pm.
U might get surprised to know half of the classmates are chinese!What on earth arer the chinese students doing in the chinese class? the class is mainly about "translating chinese stories to Japanese ".For japanese students like me, its good practice to read and understand chinese. and its also a good practice for chinese students to do that to write Japanese with better and wider expressions of japanese.
Their japanese is pretty good.I cant believe they just studied japanese for 3 years only.then they can speak japanese without problem.On the other hand ,I cant speak chinese nearly at all.

Ah sleepy...can anyone tell me why I cant fall a sleep at nights I do muscle training?any chemicals work to disturb my sleeping desire? thats why im so sleepy in day time in class!!

Price:RM85(Superior single),RM95(Superior double-twin),RM105(Superior triple) by online booking

Long term stay:RM300 (Double room) one week,(one month stay on request)(Room cleaning is done one a week)

Room Facilities:TV, aircon,bathroom(some with bathtub,some not)
TV and fridge is available at RM50 for long term stayers.

Hotel facilities:Coin laundry and dryers at RM3 per wash/dry,restaurant at lobby floor

Cleanliness:Okay...clean..but rooms feel a bit humid..cuz its old building.

Shower:water pressure is not very good,and hot shower isnt available in some rooms.

Internet:Wifi is available for free at restaurant in the lobby.Ask passwords to staff.

Around the hotel:*Indian restaurant just beside.*
The indian restaurant have small restaurant on the platform with nice view of the station for breakfast.
*There is a small kiosk at the station.
*Some plastic models of KTM trains exhibited at concourse of the station.

Good comments:*Its in magnificent cononial building.
*Lift is also very traditinal and very interesting.
*hallway also looks very nice.
*Staff at lobby are polite and friendly.
*Post box in front of the hotel also looks nice.
*in front of the statoin and hotel is bus depot of NICE BUS and some other laxurious bus to Singapore and Penang,etc..

Bad comments:*There was a blackout once when I stayed there.No window,so complete darkness.
*There are not many places to eat around the hotel.only the indian restaurant.You need to walk 10~15 mins to china town or Pasar seni to have wider choices of food..
*not many people around the hotel,so it feels somewhat unsafe..

Recommendation:reasonable for long term stayers and suitable to people who are interested in staying at magnificent historical and colonial building

Location:Jalan bukit bintang ,close to Macdonald.
Next to Agora hotel

Transportation:5 mins walk to Bukit Bintang monorail station

Price:RM68(weekdays),RM88(weekends)

Room type:twin rooms and double room.(Im nt sure about single..)

Room facilities:attached bathroom(no bathtub),TV,Aircon

Amenities:Towels

Cleanliness:clean enough,especially renovated rooms are very clean.

Around the hotel:Bakery(also selling waters)

Comments:*There is a lobby at 1st floor(not at the ground floor),without a lift,so you must take your luggages up yourself.
*Antie at the lobby looks a bit scary,but its a budget hotel..
*Lobby is open for 24 hours.

Recommendation:Suitable to budget travellers who want to have a private room at cheap rate.

I got nothing to do these days.All of my friends are either working or busy hunting for jobs.
So, I go to gym and have some sweat.

This is Midori Sport Center,one of the Nagoya city public sport center.
The mayor said that most of the public facilities in Nagoya will be close if they detect patients of swine flue. The sport center is one of those facilities..Today I had to renew my monthly pass that costs 1600yen(US$16)..What if this gym is close for the virus ?Do they compesate it? Hmm,I dont think they refund for the missing days..One entry costs 300yen(US$3),so if I can use the facility more than 6 times with the monthly pass before closure of the sport centre, I will be lucky...

The gym training was hard as always.But compared with my first day of training,one month ago, I think I can lift training machines with less grimace face than before.
There are some guys there with very nice muscle on most parts of their bodies.Looking at them sometimes, I tell myself I should not give up this hard thing and someday will achieve to build such mascular arms and thick chest with me.
Currently, I've got a fat sumo-wrestler-like face and a beer gut though....haha

After doing all the machines in the gym for 2 round, I went to running course and had a jogging for just 5 rounds. This reminded me of good days in Nilai college.I often wen to joggings along the Nilai lake.

On the way back home,I saw this constructoin.

They are constructing the Nagoya Outer Ring Road. Some parts of the project are already completed,but some parts like this one is still on-going. The road includes a ground-level road and an elevated highway just above the ground-level one. This place is the middle of housing area,so when this is completed, it will create a traffic noise pollution,I think..
